Functional Role and Responsibilities:
Tom, Senior Project Manager, responsible for project coordination and development, code and
regulatory compliance, permits, environmental and mitigation activities, and pro-active assurances.
He provides creative and functional responses in the technical areas of site planning and natural
resource management, site element designs for project development construction implementation.
Career Highlights:
Tom’s areas of specialization as a Project Manager has been in assisting clients in sensitive design
and construction development of residential and recreational properties, industrial and commercial
sites, municipal facilities and structures, industrial facilities and structures, and the rehabilitation of
disturbed and/or abandoned operations. He provides team leadership in the design development
process, the preparation and production of final construction documents through “hands-on”
interaction with MCO staff. As an Environmental Manager, Tom has assisted clients in response
to Remedial Action Consent Orders, reclamation, and in the protection and management of natural
resources in compliance of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Tom applies his
technical expertise and skill of simplistic scientific principles in the areas of erosion and
sedimentation control, drainage and retention structures, and preservation and revitalization of
vegetation and wildlife. As a Landscape Architect, Tom is trained and knowledgeable of
implementing construction projects, managing client and contractor negotiations, construction
supervision and observation, and project closeout evaluations. He has obtained valuable experience
in conducting open public forums and discussion groups to gain input, approval, and acceptance
of project design and regulatory issues.
